How a dedicated Facile Technolab team took a cross-border marketplace platform from idea to live MVP in 4 months, with 5 clients onboarded.
The client is PacknShip, an internet logistics company based in Hong Kong. It is a small team of 1–10 people, and its owner led the engagement with us.
Their idea was a custom marketplace, built to help European vendors sell on Asian marketplaces. The first version was designed around a popular marketplace in South Korea.
The client had their own Java developer and needed a delivery team around them to turn the idea into a live product.
The client's goal was cross-border selling. To get there, they needed to:
The client found Facile Technolab through an online search and chose us for our high ratings.
Taking a new idea to market quickly takes more than code. A few things shaped this project.
The client had a clear idea but a short window. The plan had to cover every component of the MVP, not only the easy parts.
The client already had a Java developer. Our team had to fit around that person, with clear roles and good coordination.
Going live meant more than deploying code. The platform needed to be ready for actual clients and a real product catalogue from the first iteration.
The custom marketplace helps European vendors reach Asian marketplaces, starting with a popular marketplace in South Korea, so the first version had to be built around that target.
Facile Technolab provided a dedicated team of three: a project manager, a lead developer and a senior QA engineer. They worked alongside the client's own Java developer.
The platform was built with Vue.js on the front end, Java with Spring Boot on the backend, PostgreSQL as the database and AWS for hosting.
Our project manager ran the work in ClickUp, which the client noted in the review. The team met with the client through virtual meetings.
A senior QA engineer was part of the team throughout, so quality was covered as the components came together.
In this MVP,currency handling stayed a manual process run by the client's team.
We kept the process structured and visible, which suited a small client team.
A project manager, lead developer and senior QA focused on one product.
Work tracked in ClickUp so the client could see what was moving.
Regular virtual meetings kept the client and team aligned.
Delivery aimed at a live launch with real clients and products.
The client's idea went live as an MVP.
The client summed up the outcome as "go live".
The client moved from an idea to a live product in four months. The custom marketplace launched with real clients and a catalogue of close to 10,000 products, rather than an empty platform.
A dedicated team of three filled the project management, development leadership and QA roles around the client's own Java developer, so the business could focus on its clients and marketplace.
Facile Technolab worked under a Hire a Dedicated Team model from June to September 2025.
